Pasco County Community H.E.A.R.T. 2.0

PASCO COUNTY, FL  ----  The Pasco Board of County Commissioners is pleased to announce additional opportunities to apply for financial assistance through the Pasco Helping with Emergency Assistance Relief for Tenants (H.E.A.R.T.) 2.0 program.  Pasco Community Development is partnering with local non-profits to help pay your bills directly if you rent in Pasco County and meet the program guidelines. 

This program helps pay your bills directly if you live in Pasco County and have experienced economic hardship due to COVID-19.  The Help with Emergency Assistance Relief for Tenants (H.E.A.R.T. 2.0) program can pay up to 18 months of bills for qualifying renters. 


The types of bills eligible for payment (for qualified renters) under the Pasco H.E.A.R.T. 2.0 program include:  

  • Rental (past, current and future)                 
  • Utilities (water and electric only)

To qualify for Pasco H.E.A.R.T. 2.0  funding, you must:
  • Be a U.S. citizen (or have legal status) and Pasco County resident
  • Meet the income guidelines of 80% or below of the Area Median Income
  • Have been economically impacted by COVID-19
  • Be Past Due in Rent and/or Utilities
  • Those households who earn less than 50% of the Area Median Income, as well as, an applicant who has been unemployed for 90 days or more will be prioritized.
